Alex grew up in Connecticut were she rode on the “A” circuit in the hunters and jumpers. While attending Lynchburg College she expanded her riding career as a working student with dressage gold medalist, Sue Cooper. While working for Sue, Alex continued riding in the jumpers with guidance from J.T. Tallon and Joe Fargis. After graduation Alex took a job working at Chado Farm, working for Frank, Mary and Laura Chapot.  In 2014 Alex moved to Maryland and took a job teaching at Potomac Horse Center, where she discovered her passion for teaching riding.  Alex enjoys teaching all levels of riders and taking them from local shows though nationally recognized shows such as US Pony Finals and WIHS. Alex also specializes in working with green horses in the hunters and jumpers. When not at horse show or the barn Alex is often found lessoning with Joe Fargis, Sonya Crampton or participating in a clinic.

Katie Bremen

Katie, originally from Long Island, NY, grew up riding in the hunter ring. She was fortunate enough to receive instruction from J.T. Tallon while attending Lynchburg College where she was a member of the IHSA team for four years, spending her junior year as Captain. After college, she spent a couple years in the "real world" and quickly discovered that horses were not just a hobby, but her passion, so she relocated to Maryland and began teaching as a professional. Katie loves to help all riders achieve whatever personal goal they've set for themselves while teaching them all of the aspects of horsemanship that goes along with riding!
